Damp Surveys
Dampness left and ignored can cause severe spoiling of internal decorations and may cause ideal conditions for fungal decay. I will offer my honest opinion and advice on the type of dampness and how this can be rectified.
Timber Surveys- Dry Rot
Under suitable conditions, dry rot growth can be very destructive to the timbers within a structure, this can lead to severe opening up of the fabric of the building to ensure the extent of growth has been located. I will provide a report with advice and recommendations on how approach an outbreak of dry rot fungus.
Timber Surveys- Woodboring Infestation
Wood boring infestation commonly known as woodworm can cause structural damage to the timbers of concern i.e flooring joists and floorboards. I will identify the type of beetle infestation, the integrity of the timbers and provide advice on how to rectify.
Timber Surveys- Wet Rot Fungus
There are many types of wet rot fungus, some can easily be confused with dry rot. I will identify the type of decay, establish the source of moisture and provide a report on my findings and recommendations on how to rectify correctly.
Condensation Surveys
Is your property suffering from condensation to windows and walls? Mould growth starting to occur to surfaces?

Pre Purchase Timber & Damp Surveys
Has damp, timber decay or woodboring infestation been flagged up on a home buyers survey? I will carry out a pre purchase timber & damp inspection to the property and will provide a report with recommendations, budget costings to rectify the areas of concern will also be provided.
Below Ground Basement Waterproofing Surveys
